December 25, 2005 (Singapore)

When Adrian and we met up a couple of days ago for chicken rice, I told him that it’s really cool he’s achieved his goal. Adrian didn’t know what I was talking about. I said, “When we came here 3 years ago and you were starting your business distributing sub-zero drinks, you said your goal was to be an exclusive distributor of Foster’s beer in Singapore. And now you are! You’ve reached your goal.” Adrian didn’t even remember saying that.

I suppose all this stuff I write (type) over the years will one day serve as a chronology of my growth. I don’t really document my business goals the way I’d like to, but I’m more focused on my emotional and spiritual (and mental) growth. And this is what I document.

While we were driving to the chicken rice place Adrian said that he finds me easier to talk to this time around. He said it may be because we both have matured.

I think it is because I have changed a lot since 3 years ago.

This time around, I am more interested in people and what makes them tick, why they think how they think and how they view life and the world around them.

It is really a testimony to the truth that you aren’t bored, you are boring, and if you don’t find people interesting it is because you aren’t interested in them.
