mockingbird

for the past many weeks, the mockingbird has been chirping on the power line pole nearby. sometimes the mockingbird would go for a midnight song program; sometimes a 5am program - whenever we were trying to sleep or trying not to be awaken.

we've seen the little brown creature atop the power line pole. for a small ball of feathers, that bird has got myriad voices and very loud songs.

is the mockingbird tirelessly singing because it still is trying to attract its mate, or because it already has?
