Statement We Make

on this littered island choking with tourists and ABC stores, i don't see anything reminiscent of september eleventh. maybe on the radio, sound bites coming on now and then, recorded statements from the past and in the present reminding us that we are united.

other than that, nothing.

life has gone on, life is going on, life will go on. a sick plot to strike terror into hearts and keep terror there - has not worked, is not working, will not work.

maybe this is the point.

maybe this is the statement we make.
